Pacific Scandal Analogies:

It will have a 3, because Jack and the Beanstalk would make a good analogy for the Pacific Scandal, because Jack climb’s a Beanstalk to get to the top. He could symbolize a American or someone that wants to take all the power and take all the bribes and money that was made in the Scandal. He would keep on trying to do anything he can to make himself have lot’s of power and make him lot’s of money.

It will be a 1, because Little Red Riding Hood is a little girl that is all nice walking a meeting animals and trying to get to her grandma’s house. She won’t symbolize much, because she is little and is really nice, but she could be a person that wants Canada to confederate and work together. With the Scandal and all she would not be a good analogy for it.

It will be a 3.5, because Goldilocks could represent the theft of pudding she did at the bear’s house and the bear’s could be the nice people, which they are. So in that case the analogy could be that Goldilocks is trying to buy the Scandal so she is a American and the Bears are the Canadians and members of parliament trying to protect the Scandal so they have money for railroads for confederation.

It can have score of 4.5 since the wolf tried to blow down the three pigs houses and take them over and kill them. So the wolf could be the American trying to steal and buy the Pacific Scandal and the Pigs can be the Canadians trying to keep the Pacific Scandal for Canada.

  1. I like your choice of the 3 Little Pigs. The first house could also be MacDonald proroguing government, the second house is the royal commission, then the third house is the one he can't get through when parliament started again in October.
